You don't get bogged down with the details and all you need is there in front of you, the work.

Only change I would suggest is the font, with certain videos it can be hard to see on some backgrounds but great work!

Deep reviews

Currently trying to write up my reviews of the month (catching up on 6 months worth of work) which are due in in the next few weeks for uni. I was reviewing the "email incident" which happened in work and realized that this review was getting pretty deep. i was actually talking about feelings and such which is something i don't normally do. at this point i was also realising how much i owe the guys at KMP. i mean i know i did but looking back at that day a lot of them took a bollocking because of me and seemed to just brush it off. i don't know if this is because they are used to it or its just a thing you do but to me it really made an impression on me and this post is a another Thank you to Greg Smith, Richard Clark and Sean Barton and the team at KMP Digitata.

Call to Arms II

I call to you once more to attend battle and fight for your honour and core. (This includes everyone. Not just the woman beater S.Hale.)
It has been TOO long since the last recorded man night. Too long.

Men are tired, dreams are in tatters and belif in the core has become somewhat scarse. And Ali has no Xbox. Times ARE hard.

Just to reiterate for those who are struggling to grasp the importance of the core.
I will NOT bow nor kneel down to the blighted infest of the Leeds Uni Scum. We will battle again. Against those we have fought before in a place thriving with them. It will be a massacre JUST because of the liquor we will be drinking.
"I'd rather die of thirst than drink from the cup of mediocrity"
(Stella advert - 2007)

"You see, slaughtering all those men. Has left a bad pain in my knee. So kneeling will be out of the question."
(King Leonidus - 300)

Heads will be severed. Injuries are a DEFINITE. If you're scared to battle, simple. Stay home. You are not wanted.

This evening,
"Ready your breakfast and eat hearty. For tonight, we dine in HELL."
(King leonidus - 300)
ALSO
"Because mums are heroes"
(Iceland advert - 2007)

Dont think that your life has value. Your value is to the core.

"And so it went,
Listen up maggots.
You are not speical, you are not a beautiful or uniqe snowflake.
You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else.
We are all part of the same compost heap. In Tyler we trust."
(Bradd Pitt - Fight Club)

In ManClub we trust.

Responses to here and via telecommunications devices. Bring any possible ManClub potentials. The battle could be immense.....

Why you ask?

Because the venue is Religion.

Dom - DO it for Donna.

The decision i leave.

To You.

Call to Arms

A call to arms from Andy which i found and thought i'd post.

Let me begin. This week has been a time of rest for some of us.
To recover from injury. To mourn the fallen and to celebrate victory. With every night that we face we have triumphed and glassed with victory.
However, we are men. Being victorious is NEVER enough.
We must learn to be faster than any punch or kick. That way we wont get hit.
(Jean-Claude Van Damme Kickboxer 1989).

With the Crescent forever being the meeting pit of the clan.

I summon a meeting.

We have two major important topics that must be discussed in our usual man like ogerish style of debate.

I bring to your attention.
1.)
The imminent rugby game. 40 Minutes League. 40 Minutes Union. There will be arguments for and against of which i care not.
This WILL BE the day of days.

It will ween any NON packers out of our beloved core.
(Gunnery Sergeant Hartman Full Metal Jacket 1987)

Packers WILL retire to the pub in FULL MALE STYLE SWEAT AND DIRT.
Deodorant, antiperspirant, and aftershave WILL be confiscated and the victim will be under Man club law to bowl on request at the next meeting.
Rank is on the line here.
Terry Tate challenges are a FULLY supported.
Any man injured is a man to respect.
Old clothes are required, boots, drink a blood towel and a Gum shield. £2 from anywhere so get one.
Date yet to be confirmed.
I need responses on this for definite numbers and days availability from Monday 25 Feb to Sunday 2nd March. ASAP. I NEED REPLIES.

There's nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer.
Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle - Pearl Harbour 2001)
2.)
The next venture
(An undertaking that is dangerous, daring, or of uncertain outcome. - The Free dictionary.co.uk 2008)

AGAIN I need availability. I need the nights that you will be available on this coming week.
The possibilities are endless.
(Fisherprice.co.uk 2008)

We also need suggestions on locations and pre-venture drinking.
Gum shields are allowed for post 3am.

Replies on the MANCLUB board only please as we can ALL discuss both topics on there. Plus i rarely check my emails on here.

What you ALL need to understand here is that we have FREEDOM. FREEDOM to take on the rugby game and venture.

You've come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight?
(William Wallace Braveheart 1995)

The decision is yours. Reply none the less.

It’s all over!

Prison Break ended the other night and i was devistated!! i think the ending was rushed, i admit that bringing certain people back was great but not the way the writers did it, it seemed like anyone could have taken that role. Ali bummed it, he's been down the phone banging on about how he knew it would happen that way etc, DEATH!

Transparent .gifs

When making this site i wanted it to be cross browser friendly (yes even to you IE users)
one of the main difficulties i had was with transparent .gifs which are used as a background for the text in my site.

when Googling around I found this site which had a very useful method of creating gifs out of data and this made them cross browser friendly
i don't really get the ins and outs of it but i found it works really well.

So thanks Hedger Wang

Two borders make a happy cell

HTML tables can be confusing and frustrating especially when using Dreamweaver, the auto widths can mess the table up.
i noticed today that when i wanted to make a table (11x8 cells) with a outer border, the cells that had

eg:"style border-right: 1px solid #666;"

had widths Dreamweaver recognised as incorrect un-till i added a border on the other side.

eg: "style border-right:1px solid#666; border-left: 1px solid #fff;"

i still haven't figured out why yet but i think it has something to do with the extra pixels being added to the widths because of the border.

Meta tags

As far as i can tell metadata is information about data.
The <meta> tag provides infromation about the HTML document. Metadata will not be seen on the page but will be picked up by search engines. Meta elements are normally used to specify page description, keywords, author of the document, last modified, and other information and they <meta> tag always goes inside the head element.

Recently I added some SEO into the html, thanks to Chetta, but noticed even with out it i am ranked 3rd on google under "sam luk designer" so with his help i should get to the top soon.
